Academic Assessment

The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) is the primary unit responsible for the college-wide coordination of assessment activities and is aimed at understanding and improving student learning. The focus of academic assessment at Hood College is on student learning outcomes and includes the review of all academic programs and a wide variety of classroom-based assessment activities.
